TAFISA Joins ISPO Panel Discussion on "Joy of movement: How urban space turns into physical activity playground"

On 29 November, TAFISA Secretary General Jean-François Laurent, Senior Manager Game Mothibi, and Project Manager Denise Robrade attended ISPO in Munich. Jean-François Laurent joined a panel discussion about "Joy of Movement:" how urban space turns into physical activity playground" along with other global players, German federal state representatives, municipalities, professional athletes, and stakeholders from the industrial sector.

The themes of the panel discussion were:

• how global players and parkrun will become of increasing attention,
• how urban space will serve as a venue for sport for all and outdoor experience, and
• how the joy of movement will become the new starting point for designs and interventions toward ubiquitous physical activity.

The narrative behind these themes was corroborated by innovative examples of how urban space can be used for Sport for All. The event also provided an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the Joy of Movement Pioneers (JOMP) global initiative. The panel discussion was moderated by Prof. Dr. Eckehard (Fozzy) Moritz and the panel speakers included:
